Family Support Team 

Wrexham’s Children Services Family Support Team provides a social work service to families in Wrexham who have been assessed as requiring long term intervention.

This can be in the form of undertaking statutory duties for Child Protection, Care and Support and Looked after Children cases. The Family Support Team also when required undertakes care proceedings from initial application to the point of final orders being granted.

The Family Support Team is committed to the goal of improving outcomes for young people and their families and work in partnership with other agencies to promote and safeguard the well-being of Children and Young People in Wrexham.
