LSD

Commonly known as ‘Acid’, when under the influence of this powerful hallucinogenic drug it changes your perceptions of what you see and hear with colours and lights becoming very vivid and senses being heightened.

Being under the influence of LSD is called a trip and like with all drugs there is a significant risk involved in taking them.   Depending on your mood can determine what happens when you have taken the drug. You don’t know how strong the drug is and how long it is going to last for (anything between 5 and 12 hours), so if you are having a bad time whilst taking the drug it is likely to be very unpleasant and scary experience that you have no control over.

LSD can trigger serious mental health problems that have previously been undiagnosed.

If you are in a situation where either yourself or friends have taken LSD and are experiencing negative reactions then please ensure that you that you are in a quiet place where you feel safe and not by yourself.

LSD is a class A drug and if caught in possession with LSD you can face up to 7 years in prison and for supply it is up to life imprisonment with a fine.
