Did you know that just one chat could make a big difference in someone’s life? Time to Talk Day 2025 is all about encouraging open conversations about mental health – with friends, family, or even someone new.
Why Talking Helps
We all have mental health, just like we have physical health, and it’s important to look after it. Whether you’re feeling stressed about school, work, relationships, or just life in general, talking about how you feel can help you feel supported and less alone.
Starting the conversation can feel awkward or scary, that’s why Time to Talk Day is here to remind us that there’s no right or wrong way to talk, and every conversation counts. It could be as simple as:
- Asking a mate how they’re really feeling
- Sharing something that’s been on your mind
- Listening without judgment when someone opens up
Need Someone to Talk To?
We know that sometimes, you might not feel comfortable talking to friends or family. That’s why we run a drop-in session every Thursday at the INFO Shop from 3-5pm called “Time to Talk”. No pressure, no judgment – just a safe space to chat, get advice, and have someone that will listen.
How Can You Get Involved?
- Check in on a friend or send them a message
- Start a conversation about mental health at school, college, or work
- Pop into the INFO Shop on Thursdays from 3 – 5pm – we’re here to listen!
