It’s Sextember, and this years theme is free, easy, sorted, safe and it’s all about condoms.
Why condoms?
Condoms (and other barrier methods) are the only kind of contraception that protect against sexually transmitted infections and prevent unwanted pregnancy.
They can be really important if:
- you’re having sex with a new partner
- you’re unsure of your partner’s STI status
- you want extra protection to reduce the risk of passing on or catching an STI
Condoms are just one of lots of different kinds of contraception available free of charge in Wales, so there’s bound to be one to suit you and your lifestyle.
The INFO Shop offer free condoms up until you’re 26th Birthday!! Once you’ve signed up to our service, you can collect free condoms without hassle or judgement.
Trained Youth Workers at INFO can offer sexual health information, and support with relationships, contraception and sexual health, as well as anything else that might be on your mind.
You can just pop in, ask at the desk, have a quick chat, grab some condoms and get on with your day.
