This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re highlighting the support available to young people in Wrexham. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just need someone to talk to, there are services ready to help.
🏠 The INFO Shop: Your Local Support Hub
Located on Lambpit Street in Wrexham town centre, the INFO Shop is a free and confidential drop in service for 11 to 25 year olds. Staffed by friendly youth workers, it offers a safe space to discuss any issue, including mental health, relationships, housing, education, sexual health and more.
Services include:
- Youth Work Staff providing info, advice and guidance
- Counselling for ages 11–18 through the Outside in Counselling Service
- Drop-in session “Time to Talk” Thursdays 3-5pm.
- Youth Homelessness Prevention Service, supporting those at risk of homelessness before they reach crisis
- Sexual Health access to free contraception, advice, STI testing and more
- Second Voice Advocacy to help you get your voice heard
- In2change drug and alcohol support

💬 Outside In Counselling
This service offers a confidential space for 11 to 18 year olds to explore their thoughts and feelings. You can self-refer or have a trusted adult assist you. Referral forms are available at the INFO Shop or online.

- CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services): Provides specialist support for under-18s experiencing mental health challenges. They offer early help, planned care, and urgent support.
- Advance Brighter Futures: A local charity offering group activities and one-to-one support to improve mental wellbeing.
